We’ve been blessed with a warm and sunny summer – from what I hear, this is a rare treat in England. So for my shoot with the Hudson family, we took advantage of the sunshine and flowers and met at a local park. Ruby is four and loves being a big sister to her brother, one-year-old Toby. Lots of kisses and sweet moments between these two!
There’s something special about the bond between a mom and her little boy.
Bright colors, warm sun, and a lovely family.
Gorgeous eyes
Cherish had this dress specially made for her daughter. The combination of balloon prints, polka dots and vintage prams was so sweet for a little girl.
The pink parasol is a Footsteps Photography prop and provided the perfect backdrop to show off Ruby’s curly red locks.
This session was full of energy and personality, not just from the kids but the parents as well. At one point, the father, Nick, climbed a tree much to the amusement of his little ones below.
After sharing this great expression from Toby, it was said he was practicing his “haka” face. Nick is a kiwi and I learned haka is the traditional ancestral war cry of the Maori people of New Zealand. Very intimidating, Toby!
Throughout the entire session, Nick and Cherish were so attentive and involved with their kids. You could tell this is a family who loves to play together and mean the world to one another.
Cuddles and giggles all around!
