Hello, I am Amanda of Footsteps Photography.
Most days you can find me behind the camera and in the studio.
Over 13 years ago my first baby was born and so was Footsteps. It was my goal to capture every milestone I could so that I could always look back and cherish such special moments in time. I am a maternity, newborn, and family photographer, specializing in newborn portraiture. Whether it’s your first baby or sixth; they’re only so small for such a short time. From their tiny toes, soft skin and pure innocence, I desire to capture these moments perfectly for you so that one day you can look back and cherish those moments too.
The things I am most passionate about in life are my family, photography and the arts.
When I’m not busy working or editing, you can catch me hanging out with my family or crafting. I love to sew and create several of the props I use within the studio.

5 Things You Might Not Know About Me
I’m a NW Arkansas native, born and raised {but I don’t sound Southern}.
I’m a mom of two, a girl who is the reason FSP was born, and a little boy whose Footsteps are little feet you see in my logo today.
I’ve lived in 3 countries – USA, Japan, and England.
I LOVE the color aqua, and all shades of it. You can never have enough, although my husband might disagree with me.
I have a formal photography background with my Bachelors in Fine Art and Design but also have years of practical experience with design and art from working in my parents’ commercial design shop as well as hands on workshops and learning as I go. You are always learning and growing I always say.
